Housing Officer

Wyn Thomas is the Housing Officer for Cwmgors, Gwaun Cae Gurwen and Lower Brynamman. Wyn will help and support tenants to manage and sustain their occupation contract, ensuring that all aspects of the contracts are adhered to. Where support needs are identified he will refer or signpost a tenant to the most suitable agency for advice and assistance.

Wyn is also responsible and accountable for dealing with complaints or reports of Anti-Social Behaviour in his area. He will provide clear information and advice on what options are available to help tackle ASB, focussing on practical ways of trying to resolve problems.

In addition Wyn undertakes a weekly review of rent accounts and he will take the appropriate action to recover and address any arrears. This can include referrals being made to the Financial Inclusion Team or the Universal Credit Team whilst also providing advice and assistance in relation to applications for Housing Benefit.

Sarah Clark is the Housing Officer for Rhos, Ynysmeudwy, Cilmaengwyn, Ystalyfera, Rhiwfawr. Sarah will help and support tenants to manage and sustain their occupation contract, ensuring that all aspects of the contracts are adhered to. Where support needs are identified she will refer or signpost a tenant to the most suitable agency for advice and assistance.
