Top rating for Tai Tarian
Wednesday 10 June 2026
Tai Tarian has achieved the highest rating a housing association can receive in a recent assessment from the Welsh Government.
Our latest Regulatory Judgement has come in with a green rating focused on governance, including service delivery and financial viability.
We are regulated by Welsh Government, so periodic assessments are carried out on all Housing Associations in Wales against a framework called The Regulatory Framework for Welsh Registered Social Landlords.
As part of this process, we submit detailed evidence showing how we meet the required standards. This is reviewed alongside further information requests and engagement with our Board and Audit and Risk Committee.
Achieving a green rating means we are:
- Well-governed - led effectively and well managed by boards, executives and staff, and working with tenants and partners to make and implement effective business decisions.
- Delivering high quality homes and services - providing homes and services that meet people’s diverse needs and expectations, with an emphasis on high quality services, value for money and continuous improvement.
- Financially viable – with well-managed finances and the resources and cash flow to meet current and future business commitments.
This top rating reflects the strength of our governance, finances and the quality of our services, together with our ongoing commitment to our tenants.
