Despite the rain, tenant families turned out in force yesterday (Tuesday, 15th April) for a fantastic day of fun at Baglan Boys & Girls Club – the first of three free events being held across Neath Port Talbot this Easter by housing provider Tai Tarian.

The event was a huge success, with tenants and their families enjoying a packed day of entertainment, soft play, face painting, music, and visits from some of their children’s favourite characters – including Stitch and Angel, Bluey and Bingo, Poppy from Trolls and Stuart the Minion.

Now, tenant families are invited to join the celebrations at one of the two remaining free fun days, designed to offer children and parents alike an exciting, cost-free day out during the school holidays.

Wednesday, 23rd April, Giants Grave Boys & Girls Club (Hengwrt Barn), Briton Ferry – 10am to 2pm  

Friday, 25th April, Pontardawe Leisure Centre – 10am to 2pm

Each event promises a fantastic atmosphere, with soft play, a bouncy castle, music, face painting, and visits from children’s much-loved characters. Free refreshments and sweet treats will also be available, and Tai Tarian teams will be on hand to chat with tenants and answer any questions.

Katie John, Tenant Empowerment Officer at Tai Tarian, said:  

“We’re delighted to be hosting our first ever fun days over Easter to give our tenant families the opportunity to enjoy a free day out during a busy holiday period.  

The first event in Baglan was a huge success, even the rain couldn’t stop the fun! It was fantastic to see so many families coming together, children smiling and making lovely memories.  

We’d love to see the same turnout for our next two events in Briton Ferry and Pontardawe. All tenants are welcome to come along and enjoy the fun, there’s no need to book, just turn up, join in and enjoy the day with your family and neighbours.”
