Helping a tenant get on line

We’re pleased to announce that Digital Connections is now a permanent service at Tai Tarian after a successful first year supporting tenants.

The team helps people build confidence online, whether that’s getting online for the first time, using a device, joining a video call, accessing online services or setting up Wi-Fi at home.

For many of the people we’ve helped, technology felt overwhelming at first, but our support is friendly, informal and tailored to individual needs.

We can help with:

  • Getting connected to the internet

  • Setting up and using Wi-Fi

  • Using smartphones, tablets and computers

  • Registering on My Tai Tarian

  • Making video calls on platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom and Teams

  • Accessing online services safely

  • Keeping in touch with family and friends online

  • Building confidence with everyday digital tasks

Whether you’re completely new to technology or just need a helping hand, we’re here to help you learn at your own pace.
