Three local community organisations have received a helping hand thanks to our annual Community Challenge.

Margam Community Centre, DOVE Workshop in Banwen and Pontardawe Bowls Club were worthy winners, and over the last few months we have given their spaces a spruce up.

At Margam Community Centre, volunteers carried out improvements including painting the entrance and hallway, replacing toilet taps and resealing PVC doors to prevent water getting in.

At DOVE Workshop in Banwen, work included painting the entrance area and planters, tidying outdoor spaces and jet washing surfaces.

Volunteers also helped refresh Pontardawe Bowls Club with a painting project to create a brighter, more welcoming environment.

Colleagues from across Tai Tarian used one of their annual volunteer days to support the projects, with supplies kindly donated by our contractors.

Julie at DOVE Workshop said:
“We were so pleased to welcome the team from Tai Tarian. They worked incredibly hard, helping us with painting, weeding and jet washing, which has made a real difference to the appearance of the building and its surroundings. A huge thank you!”
