Apprenticeships

A Tai Tarian apprentice building a wall under the supervision of an experienced worker

Leaving school and don't know what to do next? Looking for a career change? Want to learn new skills? Our new apprenticeship programme could be for you.

The programme will see you learn new skills as you start on a career in a trade. You will work alongside our experienced tradespeople, learning the practical elements of the job, whilst also spending one day a week at one of our local colleges.

We offer apprenticeships in a range of trades, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, bricklaying, painting and carpentry.

Some of the benefits of doing an apprenticeship with us include:

  • Real Living Wage
  • Tool kit
  • All necessary safety clothing & equipment
  • Full training and support
  • Starting with 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (rising to 31 days plus bank holidays after five years' service)
  • 2 extra leave days at Christmas
  • Pension scheme
  • Cycle2Work scheme
  • Free eye tests
  • Health and wellbeing support

Anastacia is one of our current plumbing apprentices
and told us what she enjoys about working with us.

To qualify for the programme, we ask that you have achieved (or are predicted to achieve) GCSEs in English or Welsh (first language) and maths (grade A*-C). You’ll also need to commit to attending college as required.

You can find out more about us as an organisation in our Candidate Pack. It will give you a feel for what it’s like to work for us, find out what we’re looking for and help you decide if you want to join us. You’ll also find hints and tips to support you with your application.

Interested? We’ll be recruiting for our next apprentices in May 2025, so keep an eye on our jobs pages and follow us on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok for updates.
