Housing

Clare started her career as a student with Newport City Council and was sponsored to complete a Masters in Housing at Cardiff University. Clare subsequently worked for two other local authority areas holding positions in housing management, supported housing and strategy.

In 2012, Clare won the prestigious Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru (CIH) Rising Star award.

Katie has experience across a number of service areas including housing, business improvement and I.T. 

She is responsible for leading our housing transformation team, with a remit including continuous improvement, policy development, process improvement, implementing legislative change and delivery of elements of our corporate plan.

Katie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and holds qualifications in housing policy and practice, project management and a PGC in technology management.

She is passionate about customer-focused service delivery, process improvement and utilising technology to improve services and the experience of customers and colleagues.
