Tenants driving forward services within Haven Housing schemes

NPT Homes has been working in partnership with tenants at its Haven Housing schemes to develop and deliver their idea of a perfect community.

As a result, the Evaluating Haven project was launched in April this year.  The project involved a new, tenant-led group who set about discovering what is important to Haven residents.  The group reported that residents rated support and independence, a good environment and safety and security as their main priorities.

Now, six months on from the initial consultation, the group is once again seeking tenants’ views.  The group, accompanied by NPT Homes staff, is visiting all Haven Housing complexes to find out what tenants think about changes to their schemes and to discover what is working and what could be done better as well as gathering ideas to further improve services.
