Tai Tarian shortlisted for wellbeing award
Tai Tarian has been shortlisted for a Welsh Housing Award in the excellence in staff wellbeing category.
This nomination reflects the organisation’s commitment to health, wellbeing and happiness through lots of initiatives including:
- Mates in Mind: Focusing on the mental wellbeing of our remote male workers, offering a texting service for those who may be hesitant to talk.
- Men's Health Week: Providing health MOTs, health screening, and stress management workshops to ensure our team's well-being.
- EMPOWER Workshops: Bringing in external speakers to motivate and inspire our staff in areas like energy, motivation, physical activity, optimism, well-being, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
- Menopause Campaign: Raising awareness and providing training for employees and managers, acknowledging that the menopause journey indirectly affects us all.
- Financial Wellbeing Workshops: Equipping our team to navigate the Cost-of-Living Crisis, with tips on making money go further and accessing support.
- Help@Hand App: Offering access to a remote GP, second opinions, counselling, and more for immediate wellbeing support.
- Nutrition Workshops: Supporting our staff in achieving better health through good nutrition.
- i-act Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing Training: Empowering over 350 employees with tools to enhance their resilience and support one another.
- Team Workshops: Enhancing team resilience and self-awareness to navigate work stressors effectively.
- Let's Talk App: Providing a platform for meaningful discussions, including wellbeing.
- Wellbeing Communication Channel: Engaging staff directly in well-being activities, from keep-fit classes to choir.
- Your Life, Your Story Campaign: Encouraging employees to share their stories and journeys to recovery, inspiring and supporting each other.
