Tai Tarian’s Home Improvements Programme Gets Tenants’ Seal of Approval
Tai Tarian’s on-going programme to improve its properties has been praised by tenants.
The work has seen houses and flats receive new roofing, external wall insulation and rendering where needed, to ensure properties are well maintained.
Homes on Southville Road in Sandfields, Port Talbot are amongst the latest properties to be upgraded, and tenants Clive and Anita Tregonning have praised the quality of the work.
Mr Tregonning said:
“We’re really impressed with what’s been done to our home. The work has really improved its look and we are very thankful to Tai Tarian and their contractors SERS and Neath Brickwork for completing the job to such a high standard.
“We must give credit to everyone who worked on our home. They were all polite, professional and extremely hard working – they didn’t even stop for a cup of tea.
“They clearly took pride in their work and always cleaned up after them at the end of each day. They treated our house as they would their own. We were really impressed.”
Tai Tarian’s Tenant Liaison Officer, Steve Grey was responsible for ensuring that the work to the Tregonning’s home was carried out efficiently and that they were kept up to date on progress throughout. He said:
“Receiving feedback from tenants is very important to us and we were thrilled to learn that Mr & Mrs Tregonning were pleased with the results of the improvements to their home.
"It is our aim to ensure that any work we carry out to our tenants’ home creates as little disruption as possible and I am delighted that we managed to do that here. We were particularly pleased to hear positive feedback on our contractors SERS and Neath Brickwork and the hard work and attention to detail of their employees.
We are very grateful to Mr and Mrs Tregonning for letting us know about their experiences and we hope they continue to enjoy living in their home.”
