Tai Tarian Receives Seal of Approval from Welsh Government
Our Financial Viability Judgement from Welsh Government has been issued today. (27th March)
The Regulatory Judgment assessed how the housing provider had been performing over the past year and if it had met required standards. For 2019, Tai Tarian’s performance was judged to be Standard – the highest possible rating.
The purpose of the assessment is to ensure that the organisation is well governed, with good levels of tenant involvement. It also assesses if any risks facing the business are well managed, that there are robust processes in place to assess performance and that measures are being taken to continually improve the services offered to customers.
The assessment also looked at the housing provider’s financial performance to ensure that they are financially sound and are delivering value for money in all areas of the business.
Head of Corporate Services at Tai Tarian, Angela Priestley said:
“This judgement provides assurance to our tenants, leaseholders and other stakeholders that we’re achieving the highest level of compliance in all the areas that we were assessed in. The findings of this review confirms that we remain a strong and financially secure business whilst maintaining our good governance arrangements.”
