Masks ready to be delivered

Tai Tarian has joined the fight against coronavirus by making a donation of 1000 facemasks to the NHS.

The masks, which are normally used by the housing association’s manual workers will be donated to staff fighting the virus at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.  They are being donated due to help meet the extremely high demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline NHS workers.

Andrew Carey, Tai Tarian’s Director of Assets said:
“As an organisation that prides itself on being part of the community, we felt we had a duty to help in the fight against coronavirus in any way we could.

Given the extraordinary demand for PPE currently, it made sense that we should donate whatever safety equipment we had available that would be of use to the NHS.  We are proud that we were able to help out in this way and do our part in supporting these key workers.”

The packages were prepared over the weekend and were delivered to the hospital earlier this week.
