Strong Team to Become Super Heroes for Cardiff Half Marathon
20 employees for social housing provider NPT Homes have answered a rallying call from the HelpHollie appeal, to become superheroes by running the Cardiff Half Marathon.
Help Hollie has been regularly supported by NPT Homes since 2014 so it’s not surprising that so many staff were willing to take part in their #Hollies100 challenge.
The aim of the challenge was to sign up 100 superheroes to take part in the Cardiff Half Marathon, all of whom commit to raising £100 each for Anthony Nolan, collecting £10,000 in total.
Andrew Carey Deputy Director of Assets at NPT Homes said:
“For many members of team NPT Homes this is their first half marathon. While others are getting competitive with colleagues over who can finish in the quickest time! Ultimately our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Anthony Nolan and enjoy the event.”
Uncle Mac from Help Hollie added:
“We have been overwhelmed by the number of staff members keen to take part of the challenge to continue Hollies’ legacy.
We would like to wish all runners the best of luck for the race on the 2nd October.”
