Search to find new Chair of the Board

The call is going out for a new Chair of the Board for one of Wales’s largest social housing providers.
 

It’s a challenging time for the social housing sector as the cost-of-living crisis and changes to housing laws in Wales, combined with a lack of affordable housing has sent demand for social housing soaring. 

It is against this backdrop that Neath Port Talbot-based Tai Tarian is seeking an experienced professional to head up the board which oversees the performance of the housing provider. 

Tai Tarian own over 9000 homes in Neath Port Talbot, from one-bedroom flats to specialised complexes for people over 55, as well as a host of support services and training opportunities for local people. 

The role requires a commitment of at least four days a month and it is an opportunity to make an enormous difference to wide-ranging communities across the borough. 

Outgoing Chair of the Board, Jonathon Davies said:
“It has been a privilege and a delight to be the Chair of the Board at Tai Tarian for the past eight years. My replacement will soon realise that Tai Tarian is a wonderful organisation which is passionate about providing great homes and communities for its tenants.”
