NPT Homes and Westward

NPT Homes tenants will have a new name to remember from the 5th November, their new gas contractor Westward.

Following a rigorous tender process, Pontardawe based Westward Energy Services have been named as NPT Homes’ preferred contractor for the next seven years.

The contract will see Westward carry out high quality servicing, repair and maintenance works to NPT Homes’ gas, oil, and solid fuel systems and appliances. As part of the annual visit they will also check, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms to ensure these potentially lifesaving devices are in good working order.

Head of Property & Maintenance at NPT Homes Gareth John said:

“We are looking forward to working with Westward Energy Services, who were selected following a rigorous tender process undertaken to identify the most suitable contractor for this essential work, which must be carried out at every property.

They have considerable experience in the social housing sector and it’s a real positive that one of our largest maintenance contracts has been awarded to a local company, to help keep the pound local.”

Anthony Slattery, General Manager at Westward Energy Services added:

“We are delighted to have been awarded the new contract with NPT Homes. We look forward to collaborating with them to deliver high quality servicing, repair and maintenance services for the next seven years.”
