NPT Homes Transformed Its Second Local School
NPT Homes and Spotless Recruitment transformed Alltwen Primary School on Thursday 11th June as part of NPT Homes’ Community Challenge.
Alltwen Primary School is the second project to benefit from this year’s Community Challenge and had its playground repainted and work carried out on its flower beds, wendy house, sandpit, gates and shed with paint and material donations from Dulux Refresh and Buildbase Neath.
This is the third year NPT Homes’ Community Challenge has run and with help from its contractors and suppliers, will be helping a total of five projects this year. Still to benefit are St Mary’s Church Hall in Briton Ferry, Alltycham and Rhyd-y-Fro Community Hall in Pontardawe and Tai’rgwaith Primary School in Pontardawe.
Jayne Davies who heads up the Community Investment Fund for Spotless Recruitment said:
"As a result of NPT Homes using us as their recruitment agency, we have been able to provide funds and materials for their Community Challenge. We thoroughly enjoyed working on the second challenge in Alltwen."
Headteacher of Alltwen Primary School, Owain Hyett, said:
“I was delighted that we were chosen as one of the lucky winners of the Community Challenge Project. Our school yard looks amazing after all the hard work from NPT Homes and Spotless Recruitment. The children are really enjoying using their new and improved play area.”
