NPT Homes Staff Give the Gift of Christmas with the Mr X Appeal

Generous staff at NPT Homes have given the gift of Christmas to many underprivileged children in the local area by donating presents to the well-known Mr X Appeal.

Adding to last year’s total, 50 members of staff donated gifts to the appeal which has been run for over 50 years by Mr X, an anonymous gentleman living in Swansea.

Staff who took part in the appeal chose a local child based on their gender and age, taking the time to purchase an extra gift to ensure that their chosen child would have a smile on their face come Christmas day.

NPT Homes’ Chief Executive Linda Whittaker said:
“As a social housing provider we are very aware of the fact that Christmas can be a difficult time of year for some families. Our staff always support various charity campaigns throughout the year and it’s great to see that so many have donated to this particular one and given something back during the festive period.”
