We are delighted to work with local councillors from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council as part of a consultation with residents regarding a proposal for a development of 12 homes at Laburnum Avenue in Baglan.

The land proposed for development is currently owned by the local authority and is in an area where there is a huge demand for affordable homes.

Should the proposal progress to a full planning application, the site could become home to a mix of 1 and 2-bedroom houses and apartments, together with dedicated off-road parking. They could also feature energy efficient technology to reduce the impact on the environment.

Head of Development, Andrew Hall said:
“Currently, the designs are at concept stage, but we believe in early consultation. That’s why we worked with local councillors to hold engagement sessions with local people so we could gather their feedback, observations and comments before we undertake any further feasibility and design work.

“As an organisation, one of our commitments is to take positive action towards a sustainable planet, therefore our developments are designed with biodiversity, ecology and sustainability in mind. We’ll also factor in a sustainable drainage system, in an attempt to better manage surface water and ease the strain on local drainage networks.

“Further investigation work will be required to determine the likelihood of a successful planning application. We would also encourage local residents to engage with the formal Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) which will be a key engagement exercise in advance of any potential planning application."
