Local business expands thanks to partnership with Tai Tarian

A Neath based construction company is expanding thanks to its continued partnership with Tai Tarian.

Neath Brickwork, which was founded in 2002, initially worked as a sub-contractor on the housing provider’s four year programme to install external wall insulation. Following excellent customer feedback, the company was awarded a contract in its own right and now carries out work to maintain and renew walls and paths around its properties.

As a result of this partnership, the company is expanding, with extra workers being taken on whilst it hopes to take on an apprentice in the coming months.

Gareth Colwill, owner of Neath Brickwork said:
“We have an excellent relationship with Tai Tarian as we share the same core values of professionalism, quality of work and providing an excellent standard of customer service.  Being from the area, we also share their commitment to improving communities by employing local staff and using local suppliers.

Thanks to this relationship we are now in a position to hopefully grow the company and offer employment and training opportunities to local people.”

Steve Grey, Senior Tenant Liaison Officer at Tai Tarian said:
"We consistently get feedback from tenants saying how impressed they are with the work Neath Brickwork do at their homes.  They are particularly complimentary over their professionalism and customer service – values which are important to us.

Their expansion shows that our commitment to using local contractors and suppliers where possible is bearing fruit.  Neath Brickwork is a real success story of this approach and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.”
