Community Hall Revamped as Part of NPT Homes’ Community Challenge
As part of NPT Homes’ Community Challenge, another community hall has been transformed.
Mi-space, one of NPT Homes’ main contractors, has carried out much needed internal decoration at Alltycham and Rhyd-y-Fro Community Hall in Pontardawe.
With support from local businesses Jefferies, W R Jones, Speedy Services and Dulux, the transformation took one day to complete and included painting all of the inside walls and key features. To ensure the building was suitable for those with visual impairments, contrast colours were used to highlight all the main features in compliance with RNIB guidelines.
NPT Homes’ Community Regeneration Co-ordinator, Nicole Barnes, said:
“Our Community Challenge has helped five community projects this year. The difference Mi-space and the other local businesses have made to the hall has been fantastic.”
Mi-space’s Community Engagement Manager, Michelle Cole, said:
“We are always keen to give back to the communities that we work in and by working in partnership with our local suppliers we were able to transform the hall.
I would like to thank them all for their support and generous donations.
The users of the hall were extremely excited to have the decoration carried out and were so happy with the result.”
