Christmas closing - important information
Our offices will be closed from 12:30pm on Tuesday 24th for the Christmas break. We will re-open on Thursday 2nd January.

Emergency repairs
If you need to report an emergency repair, please call our out-of-hours service on 0300 777 3000.
This number is for emergencies only. Non-urgent repairs can be reported in the usual way when we return after the break. Any repairs reported and found to not be an emergency could be liable for recharge. To see what we class as emergencies please click here.
Power cuts
If you experience a power cut, please report it to the National Grid by calling 105 or visiting https://powercuts.nationalgrid.co.uk/
Smell gas?
You can report suspected gas leaks to the National Gas Emergency Helpline on 0800 111 999.
Direct debits
If you pay your rent by direct debit and were due to pay it on the 25th or 26th December, payment will now be taken on the 27th. If you were due to pay on the 1st January, then payment will now be made on the 2nd. Please ensure you have enough money in your account to cover the payment on these dates.
Universal Credit and other benefits
If you receive Universal Credit or other benefits, then there will be some changes to the days you get paid.

Homes by Choice
Our Homes by Choice bidding system for new homes won't operate over the festive break. It will return on Friday 3rd January.
Haven Housing
Residents in our Haven Housing independent living schemes should be aware that there will be no staff on site over the festive period. In an emergency, residents can continue to use their pendants and pull cords as normal, with these calls going through to Careline who will take appropriate action.

Anti-social behaviour
Please report instances of anti-social behaviour to the police on 101 or 999 if an emergency.

Samaritans
We know Christmas can be a tough time for many. If you’re struggling or having a tough time and need someone to talk to, with no judgement the Samaritans are available 24/7. Call them on 116 123.

Our social media accounts won’t be monitored during the Christmas break. Please do not report repairs, anti-social behaviour or make any other enquires this way as your message may get missed.
