Big Spring Tea Party Hailed a Success
A tea party held for residents of NPT Homes’ Haven Housing schemes has been declared a great success.
The Big Spring Tea Party was held at the Baglan Community Church on Wednesday 18th May and saw over 90 tenants from around Neath Port Talbot gather for the social event. The occasion included a singalong, buffet, bingo and a quiz. There was also music provided by one of the Haven Housing tenants as well as a local ukulele band.
The event was to celebrate the partnership between NPT Home and CVS Community links projects. Attendees included NPT Homes tenants who participate in the Big Sunday Lunch, and Big Trips, and members of community links projects such as Furry Friends, Dulais Valley Lunch Club and others.
Amy Hines, Tenant Empowerment Officer at NPT Homes helped organise the party. She said:
“The Big Spring Tea Party was a great opportunity for Haven tenants to get together in a fun and friendly setting. We were thrilled to see so many turn up and enjoy the occasion.
It was also an ideal time for us to speak with our tenants and get their feedback on previous events that we have staged.”
