NPT Homes and NPTCVS set to hold another Big Sunday Lunch
NPT Homes is holding its 13th Big Sunday Lunch at the Four Winds, Port Talbot on Sunday 13th March for its Haven Housing tenants.
Organised for tenants over the age of 55 by NPT Homes’ Tenant Empowerment Team, Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Service (NPTCVS) and members of NPT Homes’ Social Group, the lunch aims to bring communities together for a fun afternoon which in turn also helps to reduce the isolation and loneliness felt by some older tenants.
With community transport available, residents can relax and enjoy a two-course meal for just £7.95 with live entertainment from tenant and musician John Thomas, bingo and a raffle.
NPT Homes’ Tenant Empowerment Officer, Amy Hines, said:
“Our previous events have proved so successful that we are all really looking forward to the next Big Sunday Lunch. The events are important for the community as they give residents the chance to meet new people and spend time with those who live in other areas of the Borough. It’s going to be another fun-filled event so we hope as many residents as possible will join us and enjoy the afternoon!”
